Drive-in

Friday was opening night in the drive-in! My Government teacher is the manager (and I heard he sometimes gives out free tickets, yay for teachers with two jobs) and my hostcousin works there. I had heard a lot about the drive-in already, but last season I wasn’t able to go. This time, I needed to go!

I went with Dakota, Savannah, Richard and his 10-year-old brother. I was going to Josh and Azlynn’s car, but I couldn’t find them, so I stayed with the first group. We went to get popcorn, hamburgers, fries, drinks, peanuts (nothing for me, even though I ate their popcorn, haha) at the concession stand and we were ready for the movies. The first one I barely saw, since I was trying to get Azlynn explain where they were. (the first was the Green Hornet) The second one (don’t remember the name) I saw in Richards car. His brother wanted to go home after the second one. I couldn’t find a car to stay at until the end, so we called Matthew, who luckily was ready.

He picked me up and tried (!) to bring me home. I messed up, because I lost my keys, haha. We tried to call my hostparents and wake them up, but it didn’t work. Luckily Matthew had a place to make a sleepover so that’s what we did, haha.

How it works is so cool! There are two screens and both screens have their own radiostation, you put that up in the car and you have the sound! Outside the car, there is also a pole with a box on it. You can hang the box in yor window and there is more sound! Isn’t that awesome?

All over it was a night that was alright. I am sure it could’ve been more fun at the drive-in (I can see everybody sitting on blankets with smuggled pizza’s and have a picknick) but it was fun though!
