Work out

This morning, we had swimming practice. It was good. I felt like I caught up in freestyle (still not breathing right, but not that far behind the person in front of me) and I got a compliment from the coach on my breaststroke (keep going, keep going, I want to do that one in meets!). We had two hours, but it felt way too short! I wanted to be in the water some more! Maybe not practicing, but just hanging around a bit would’ve been nice.

Tonight I went to Zumba with my hostmom and -aunt. They went yesterday too and we are going again wednesday. We were in de middle of the gym(s). I can’t say I really liked it. I could not see what she was doing, so I just did what the people in front of me did. They got confused so when I finally knew what we had to do, she was starting another move already! I got really frustrated and I would not go again if I wouldn’t know better. Wednesday we are going again but this time we are going to be up front. So we can see the instructor. I don’t like standing in front of people, but I would rather stand in front of them and have a good work out than stand in the back and do nothing because I can’t see.

Then, since spring started today, I will give some attention to that too. I think EVERY blog that came online today was about spring and I can’t ignore that, can I? In Wichita the sun has been shining for a few days, even though sometimes we have some clouds. Today I walked around in shorts and a t-shirt all day! This week, the coldest it is going to get is 12C on sunday, but the day before it is going to be storming. The hottest it is going to be is tomorrow, with 27C! Besides the temperatures, of course there is much more I love about spring. I can wear my shorts again. And my sunglasses. I can open my window without freezing. Everybody (and everything) looks way, way, WAY happier!
