New room(s)

When I come back from America, I have a few rooms to decorate. I have a whole new room at my mom’s house and I will get a room in my college city that needs decoration. While looking through interior magazines during Housing and Interior Design class, I have found some things that I like. I like light rooms (lots of white) with lightpink, blue and mint. I have found different pictures that I like (white walls, but to bring color in, a purple ceiling, how awesome is that? And original!) but now I really need to get thinking about what I want.

I know I want it light, but I need to know what curtains I want and closets/dressers, a bed and other things. When I was talking to my mom today, I got the idea of buying a mannequin like the one on the picture. I can put my promdress on it, so it has some use (decorations). Since my dress is purple, I could paint the walls light purple, have white furniture and different shades of purple as accessoires, like pillows and photoframes.

Do you guys have any things you like? Or new ideas for me? Let me know!
