Prom night

I had fun on prom night, but less than I expected. (I just had too high expectations, stupid high school movies!) It looked awesome and everybody looked really good! There weren’t as much people as I thought there were going to be, but I made loads of pictures. I didn’t win Prom Queen, but that’s okay. I just wanted to be royalty, the other girls deserved it more than I did (I say!).

I tried to make that post, but I didn’t get internet anymore for the rest of the day, so it didn’t work out. At 12.10 we started on my hair. I got different sizes of curls and on top some volume to put behind my tiara. When that was done we went to get my make-up done. Marysol and her two sisters all three worked on my make-up, I was impossible, haha! It started really high, but I didn’t like that, so I kept asking if they could finish it lower (and lower, and lower, haha!). I also wanted bright purple in my eyeshadow, since my dress is bright purple. In the end it all worked out an after 3 hours I left the salon!
When I got home I had to hurry to put my dress on and then we went to the activity center. At 4 the bus left and we went to Red Rock Canyon Grill. What is that place expensive! I didn’t leave a tip, and maybe that’s rude, but I felt like they didn’t deserve it. The food was not good enough for the price (brown edges on the lettuce, no croutons) and they messed up our orders (I asked for no purple lettuce and the other girl for no peppers. I got the one without peppers and the girl next to me got without purple lettuce and croutons). Besides, if the price is that high, I think the tip is in the price already.

Anyways, after dinner we went to a place to take pictures. They had a waterfall, a little lake, stairs and a fountain and a lot of good pictures were made there! Then we drove around for a bit and party’d on the bus before we arrived back at the activity center. We had to go through security and the thingy that you walk through went off when I went, haha! Because of the hoops in my dress! When more and more people arrived the party started and everyone started dancing. I took loads of pictures (all of them are on my facebook) and at 9.30 it was time for the prom king and queens! When we got announced we walked through the room to the stage while they talked about you. They said your 3 biggest honors/achievements in high school and what you wanted to do after graduation. Justice (the one I walked with) got a huge applause because he is going to serve the country in the navy. (I like that American people appreciate those people so much! I read a lot about soldiers who get applauded on the airport too!) Kailan won the king title and Taylor won queen (like I already said, haha!). I am really honored I was nominated! After the king and queen crowning we danced some more and took more pictures and yeah, that was prom! Time for some pictures!
