Lockdown and swimmeet

April 12, 2011 | Uncategorized | 1 Comment

During first hour, a lockdown started. A lockdown (for my non-American readers) is a situation where you are locked in your classroom and you cannot get out. If there is something like a shooting, you have to sit on the ground too, but we didn’t have that today. I am not sure what happened, but according to stories from other students, the school found drugs somewhere. Then they searched the school with dogs and the police (I did see the police) and apparently a number of students got arrested. Our first hour was 35 minutes longer, because of the lock down.

I also had a swimmeet today, against Kapaun, a private school. I swam 60 yards individual freestyle and 160 yards relay. I did 51 seconds in my 60 yards, it feels slow. But at least that means there is something to improve, haha! We lost, but this time with only 9 point, instead of 30 or 50, haha!

    Hey!

Lang niet meer gesproken, was tijd nogal.. dood op internet. Ben weer terug!

Volgens mij heb jij echt the time of your life in Amerika, haha!
