Been offline, but with a reason!
May 17, 2011 | Uncategorized | 3 CommentsFinally, a post! Haha! I have been so tired and so busy (with school and having fun) that I didn’t feel like blogging. Right now, we are relaxing a bit, so I took my mom’s computer (we’re in the hotel) to write a blog. The past few days have been like a tornado. We have done so much, I don’t even remember. And it has all been great! I’ll start at the beginning, even though I shortly named it in the last post.
Friday after school, my dad and sister picked me up. We drove around a bit and decided to go out to dinner and take Anabelle. We went to Chipotle, a Mexican grill, fast food. I had a chicken burrito, like always, and it was sooooo good! After that we took my sister to my house, and we got ready for some sleep.
Saturday it was shoppingday. I went to the mall with my sister and we shopped for our Senior Breakfast dresses. We had a great time. At 4pm we drove to the airport, to pick up my mommy! She wasn’t really tired, so our plans for the night could still happen! We took my mom to her hotel, chilled a bit and then went to Taco Bell for dinner. Note to self; don’t eat 3 (!!) doubble decker taco’s.. After Taco Bell we went to the drive-in! Yes, with the cars and the screen like in Grease. (That’s what my sister asked, haha!) We met some of my friends there and watched 1 of the 3 movies. (Fast Five) During the movie everybody already fell asleep, so we went home.
Sunday it was my last day before the blue day finals, so I stayed home. My mom had a migraine and stayed at the hotel. My sister and dad drove to Oklahoma and went to an indianreservate and what else not. In the evening we went out to dinner all together and we went to Genghis Grill for dinner.
Monday I had my finals and after school my family picked me up. We went to the mall again because I needed some other stuff and after the mall we went to Spangles to eat. Spangles is only in Kansas, so when you are here, you should definitely go! Because they have the best fries in the world! After Spangles we went to Northeast’s graduation, which only took half an hour.. But, it was pretty cool. I got to see how it goes, before I have my own, haha. After this we walked to the Keeper of the Plains, to see the fire.
This morning I had my senior breakfast! I curled my hair and wore my new dress and I felt really pretty. I got a lot of compliments too! The breakfast wasn’t really good (we all agreed), but I had a lot of fun. Getting seniorpictures, giving them out, taking pictures and introducing my sister to all my friends. After breakfast we went to the Keeper, so my family could read the information that is around there. What I didn’t know, it that there is also a museum about indians. So that is where we went. It was really interesting! After this we went to lunch at La Galette, where I ate my first lunch in Wichita too! They were really nice (of course). After this we went to Haysville, where there was a baseballgame. South against Campus, in the regionals. We lost, but it was cool to go and show my parents how enthusiast some people can become (and they weren’t really at this game..). Then we went for dinner, at Outback steakhouse. My new favorite restaurant, haha! For $10, I had a steak (6 ounces), fries, a salad and my drink (water)! If (when) you go to Wichita and you want steak; go there! My sister and me got invited to go to a party tonight, so that’s what we are going to do.
Tomorrow we are touring, we don’t know if we are going to Oklahoma or Missouri yet. We’ll see! And thursday… GRADUATION!

it was great seeing you after 9 months. It’s very nice to meet your family and friends. I think the people of Wichita are superkind. I love them. The city is so clean and there is so much space everywhere. I love the shops here and everything.
But still….I cannot wait to get you home again.
