NEW ROOMS: day #6

Today was the day we would make my closets! The dresser took us about 3 hours, but the wardrobe was a disaster! I have no idea how to explain it, so I won’t try and bore you guys. It was a hassle, we were tired and frustrated and it just didn’t work out. However, we did do it and I am proud! When we were done we made dinner and watched a movie, I think we earned that!

There are a few things that I want/need to happen or buy before it is entirely done in my mind (like it is now, haha) and that long as well short term:

1. Clean the furniture from the dust (tomorrow)
2. Clean the floor (tomorrow)
3. Put my clothes in the wardrobe (tomorrow)
4. Get a black/white poster of New York (or London) to hang above my headboard
5. Get bookshelves
6. Change the lamp
7. Print out pictures, buy frames (and paint them) and hang them on my wall
8. Get letters to make a word (surprise!) to put on my wall
9. Get a chair and a lamp to put somewhere
10. Put stuff on my window so people can’t look through

Well, I guess you want to see what it looks like now! I didn’t put decorations up yet, there’s nothing on the wall (and I got a lot of ideas, as you can see in the list above) so yes, it does look really empty!

Without doors or drawers

North side from the door. I want the change that chair for a relaxed chair with a lamp behind it. On the windows (lower half) I am going to put foil, so the people who walk by can’t look inside. Above the bed I want to put a black/white poster and on the headboard (next to the lamps) I want to put some other stuff. Maybe books, or a plant. On the wall above the dresser (you can’t see it) I am going to put two bookshelves.

This is the south side! On the wall at my feet, I am going to put black letters, I am not telling the word yet, because I am still doubting. In the wardrobe are going to be clothes, so that won’t look this white anymore, haha. On the wall next to the wardrobe, I am going to make a picturewall. I am going to buy different frames, in black and wood (so I can paint it) and hang pictures up there. I want a mirror somewhere (maybe on my door, or the side of the wardrobe) and I think I do want a memoboard somewhere so I can make list.

And, what do you think of it? I will make pictures again (or maybe a vlog? What would you like?) when my stuff is moved in and I have the things up on my walls (which can take a while, even though it is almost my birthday!).
