PERSONAL: beach, work, life!

Monday evening I went to the beach with my dad. It was so nice! I finally smelled the salty air and saw the ocean again! I didn’t realize I missed it that much, while I didn’t even go there a lot. I had a good talk with my dad. I enjoyed the ride, I hope we can go again next week, when the weather gets better!
My sisters boyfriend told me that it takes around an hour to bike to the beach from Zaandam. I am going to try that sometimes, because then I can go every week! How cool would that be? Hello beach vacation in my own house, haha!

I also applied at some places to get a job. That way I can earn some money before I leave for Leeuwarden and at least buy some decent clothes (for Dutch terms, haha!). This morning at 10.40am I got a call from Kruidvat (a drugstore). “When do you have time to come for an interview?” Yeah, well. Today, haha! So, I had an interview at 11.30am and 30 minutes later I was hired, ready to work and all! I start monday, from 1pm to 8pm. I won’t get a lot of hours, but well. It is better than nothing (it gives me money!), I will have something to do during the days and I will have enough time to see my family and find a job and room in Leeuwarden.
